“Test fees should be paid by credit card (VISA and Master Card have to be the ones that have been issued in Japan) or at convenience stores in Japan. If you make payment at convenience stores*, please make sure to do so by the deadline (within 3 days of applying for the test including the day of application).”
*This method can be used only when you ask someone who resides in Japan to make payment on your behalf. (Please transfer the e-mail entitled “How to Make Payment at Convenience Stores” or convey necessary information to your agent.)
If you cannot apply via the Internet
A candidate will be informed that “a candidate must apply for the test in person in principle” first.
1. “A candidate must fill in an application and make payment at a post office. A candidate
can ask an agent to mail the application so that the application will be postmarked no
later than the day after the deadline.”
2. “A candidate can ask an agent to complete application procedures (e.g. filling in an
application). Your application may not be accepted or you may not be admitted if it is
incomplete or if there is a mistake. Please make sure that your application will be filled
out properly and application procedures will be completed in accordance with the
guideline for application. A candidate must make sure to check the guideline for
application and agree to be bound by the terms of guideline before submitting an
application.”
If you apply for the TOEIC Test or TOEIC Bridge test, we will send a test admission ticket to an address on your application form. This means that you need to enter an address inside Japan where you can receive post matter in your own name. You can have an Official Score Certificate sent to an address outside Japan (This service is subject to fees).
