Test results (Official Score Certificate) will be mailed within 35 days of the test date to examinees using a sealed envelope marked "親展 (confidential)". If you take the test through a Group Application, please visit here.

If you did not receive an Official Score Certificate within 40 days of the test date, please call us at the contact telephone number (03-5521-6007) within 65 days after the test date.
Any undelivered certificate report submitted later than that will be considered a request for reissue. The fee for reissuing a certificate is 500 JPY per Official Score Certificate.

If you wish to request the reissue an Official Score Certificate, please send the necessary documents to "Official Score Certificate Reissue Service", Tokyo Operation Center, the Institute for International Business Communication.
A reissued certificate will be mailed 4 business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and year-end through New Year holidays.) of arrival of the necessary documents.

• *Necessary documents are valid only when they arrive at the institute within two years of the test date.
  (We do not reissue an Official Score Certificate for the test that has been administered more than 2 years ago.)
• *If you do not receive a reissued certificate within 10 days of mailing the necessary documents, please contact the institute after 11 days of mailing necessary documents.
• *Please note that an Official Score Certificate will not be reissued if necessary documents do not arrive at the institute due to non-delivery or postal delay.

A copy of (valid) identification card with a photograph Please send a copy of an identification card with a photograph (come of the following : passport, driver license*, student ID card*, employee ID card*, and Basic Resident Register Card*). We will not return the copy of identification card. * Identification cards with “*” are acceptable only if they are issued in Japan. If the copy of your identification card carries your domicile of origin, please black out that section. Please consult Tokyo Operation Center of the institute, if you do not have an identification card with a photograph or your name has changed since test administration due to marriage or other reasons.

If you wish to have an Official Score Certificate sent to a location outside Japan

If you wish to have an Official Score Certificate sent to a location outside Japan for reasons such as study abroad of overseas posting, please send the necessary documents(Japanese) and the prescribed amount of postal money order on a JPY basis to the Official Score Certificate Overseas Shipping Service. They must arrive within 10 days of the test date.
Fee for overseas shipping service : 2,500 JPY for shipping per one address.
・Please be advised that we will not accept any request submitted later than 10 days after the test date.

Shipping

An Official Score Certificate will be sent overseas by Express Mail Service (EMS). The institute will mail a “notice of receipt” to the contact address in Japan within 4 business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and year-end through New Year holidays) of arrival of the necessary documents to inform you of the scheduled shipping day.
