Directions for the Test day / Eligibility for Admission

1. We do not refund any test fees once payment is made. You are not allowed to change the test date once application is submitted.
2. Examinees are allowed to enter the test center only after they have completed all prescribed application procedures. No one can take the test on behalf of an examinee. Children and pets are not allowed in the test center.
3. Doors and windows of the test room will be closed during the listening section to cut down on noise from outside. It may become difficult to maintain a comfortable testing environment depending on the weather or climate. You are advised to dress in the way so that you can adjust clothes to the room temperatures.

Directions at the Test Center

1. Please follow the instructions of the proctor at the test center.
2. Sound from cellular phones and other electronic devices interfere with the test. Please make sure to turn off alarms and all other settings of such devices and switch off cellular phones.
3. You are to strictly observe the following instructions in the test room once you enter.
   • • Do not use a cellular phone (all functions including telephone call and mail)
   • • Do not use other electronic devices (e.g. Audio player, PC, video game console, electronic dictionary, electronic organizer)
   • • No food or drinks allowed (including bottled beverage, gum and candy)
4. Do not leave the room during the test. Please report to the proctor when you feel sick.
5. Please refrain from smoking in the test center. (Smoking is strictly prohibited at some test centers.)
6. Waiting rooms for attendants are not available.

Prohibited Acts

1. Recording, copying and/or leaking of test question contents
   • • Having a recorder or camera in your possession and using that recorder or camera at the test center
   • • Removing a test book and/or answer sheet from the test center
   • • Writing on a test book or other materials (excluding the designated space on an answer sheet)
   • • Any other acts that are determined to be recording, copying, and/or leaking of test question contents.
2. Misconduct
   • • Act of cheating
   • • Taking the test by pretending to be (in place of) an examinee
   • • Offering or receiving assistance during the test
   • • Any other acts that are considered dishonest
3. Act of sabotage (e.g. act of violence, damage to property)

Please note that you will be warned or cautioned by the proctor, your test will not be scored, you will be dismissed from the test room during the test, and your application for future test administrations may not be accepted if you are found to be in violation of the above directions or engaged in any of the above activities.

Decision not to score answer documents after test administration

We may decide not to score a test if a question arises about the validity of answers for any reason after test administration. In such case, test results will not be reported to an examinee in question.

Change of test date in the event the test is cancelled

If events outside of our control occur that cause testing to be cancelled, we will take corrective actions. Affected examinees may take another test at a future test administration at no additional fee or may receive a refund. However, we assume no responsibility for inconveniences, cost and other personal losses incurred for examinees by cancellation or postponement of the test administration.

   Please do not forget to bring it as we do not announce time during test administration.
   • • Please cancel time and alarm settings and set it for silent operation.
   • • You are not allowed to use any other devices (e.g. cellular phone, stand clock, stopwatch) in place of wristwatch.
